This is my first attempt at a time lapse video, I used a GoPro HD set for one second intervals and edited the video with a basic Pinnacle Studio program. These are pics from a 200 mile section between Amarillo, Tx and Oklahoma City.
This is the video from Assistant Chief Monty Owen's retirement ceremony on July 6, 2011. He officially is retired from the Amarillo Fire Department as of July 13 after 27+ years and is planning on moving on to some greener pastures. He will be sorely missed by all the members of the AFD.
My daughter and I were riding trails around the Red River and Angel Fire area in the Carson National Forest and I was wearing my Go Pro. Theses pics are from the Midnight Meadows area back towards Greenie Peak and then down to one of the drop-off areas just out of Red River. Hope you enjoy : )
This is a some video from our daughter's first birthday party (July 1993) which was a big success thanks primarily to her mother. A great video that brings back a lot of good memories of friends and family.
A quick look at a rookie firefighter's typical day during their first year. We picked a ramdom day with a normal schedule, there were a couple of calls - nothing major. Hope you like it : )
This is a video to commemorate our trip to Walt Disney World in July of 2008. We had a wonderful time but I think my daughter enjoyed the go-cart tracks in Panama City Beach and Orlando almost as much as the Disney Parks : ) We are planning on going back soon.
This was taken during September 2009 around Colorado Springs when I was up in that area for the Firefighter Memorial. I took this video with a GoPro camera attached to my handlebars while riding around the area. Colorado has amazing roads although in all honesty it's not reflected that great in the video in my opinion (sorry Colorado). Hope you enjoy the video!
I took a ride down to our local "Grand Canyon" here in the panhandle of Texas - Palo Duro Canyon. I was with my daughter and my buddy was with his son - hopefully it will give you some idea of what you can see if you go. Unfortunately, my helmet cam was slightly crooked, oh well. Enjoy!
These are some commercials that I made several years ago to help win support for a pay raise within our city. I did the creative, copy and directed two commercials with a male and female voiceover on each. I don't know for sure how much these helped but we did win the raise. Hope you like them.
