The Olympic Flame passed through my neighborhood here in Vancouver on February 11, 2010 during it's cross-country tour. Emily Carr Elementary School is located on Oak Street and King Edward Avenue. Students from Carr joined other spectators lining the sidewalk and boulevard for a chance to catch a glimpse of the flame.
