Going south on Jameson Ave, crossing the bridge over the Lakeshore Blvd, to get to the pedestrian bridge to the Martin Goodman Trail. Difficult by foot or bike, the City of Toronto (part of the Western Waterfront Master Plan) is considering closing the foot of Jameson to pedestrian/bicycle traffic only.
Highway 401 cuts Toronto in two; crossing it on foot or bike is very difficult. Those who cannot, or decide not to drive, are forced to negotiate the dangerous roads and sidewalks.
