There are a number of scenarios where backing up your rappel makes total sense. Most the time you can get away with not doing so but in the big hills it is a useful tool to have in your quiver
How do you talk about ropes without understanding what they do and how they work. I would love to jump right in and say yeh a single rope does this a double does that and a twin means you can switch girlfiends without them knowing. Suffer through this and part 2 will make more sense.
