Finally got my son interested in shooting trap with us. Been shooting for about 6 weeks. The 12 gauge, 30" barrelled Beretta is a tad heavy/long for him even with the LOP reduced down to 13", but he's starting to get there. 19/25 is a typical round for him - hopefully with more practice and he's puts on a little more weight, he'll get better.
Anthony, Aubrey, Angie and Jon having a great time with the Dolphins. The dolphins were fast and powerful. Amazing how they are able to push you across the water effortlessly.
My wife getting her hat shot after shooting her first 25 straight. Just started in late July, 2009. She was shooting a Browning Citori Plus Trap w/ 32" barrels and 1 oz. handloads (17 grains of Promo, 1 oz shot, CB1100 wad in Remington hulls). Everyone at the club wanted to shoot her hat!
Starting shooting trap (singles) in late July 2009. Got into doubles a few weeks ago. Had a fairly good day today (for me), breaking 24 of 26 (one of them was a few small chips - hard to tell on the vid). Having a blast with this new hobby. Using a Browning Cynergy 12 gauge with 32" barrells, adjustable comb.
Had to catch this guy as he was destroying my tank - digging up sand and releasing phosphates and other nasties. Got him! He's in the sump now - anyone need an engineer goby?
