A 7 day 2 stop cruise fr home port of san diego ca, new year's 2012, 2nd pass of cabo on the way home, boarded city bus in cabo for a $2 round trip to San Jose del Cabo and the airport,
stopped to look at the dolphin display before reboarding.

It's June, cruise just about over, visiting Victoria BC on our last day, fantastic city, harbor, blues guy, only a few hours ashore, then it's dark, next morning bus trip to sea-tac.....
VICTORIA HARBOR, 6.17.11, nearing the end of the Princess Coral one week round trip fr Seattle; Alaska cruise, we have only a few hours to walk before night falls, and the lights of the city go up and we must return to ship..
The chef and staff were warm and wonderful, food was deluxe - esp the buffet, once you do Princess you're aware of an incredible depth of professionalism, We're on our way to Victoria, last port of call, mostly sunny weather.....June 2011.

June 2011: a trip I'd dreamed of most of my life came true: Catching the WP&YR out of Skagway: It's about $120 Round Trip, we got it off the Coral Princess Cruise: purchased tickets at the Station for said price, you can walk off the boat.....The rail folk are friendly, informative. Since I've read the story of the building of this line, a superhuman feat.....
Second set from Juneau, the tram was $27 but you just gotta do it, walking around is free and photogenic as possible, we're on a 7 day Seattle there and back, and sadly, it's not the inside passage I've dreamed of......
It's June 2011: we've got a ton of wine from whole foods and we're enjoying a warm day in JUNEAU AK, our first time there: The Mt Robert's Tramway is the first stop, right off the boat, and up to dizzying heights and a beautiful hike up the easy trails with fantastic views of the tram, Juneau, and surrounding mountains and sea.
The pricnes coral cruise to AK: leaving Seattle, Scallop feast @ Westlake Whole Foods, our view of Space Needle from not so upscale Best Western, Cruising thru Olympic snow covered peaks, 1st stop Juneau AK, not exactly inside passage but wonderful.
Our 1st port of call in June 2011, Ketchikan: it's so photogenic: my 3rd in series, you must take the funicular tram, wander down the back streets and main streets, drink some AK beer!

The Golden Princess stops @ Gustavus to pick up 4 NP rangers and proceeds about as far up Tarr Inlet as possible, which is right on the Canada/US border: this is the location of Margerie glacier. Later Lamplugh and Reid Glaciers are approached.
A 9 hour whirlwind trip thru new architecture of Vegas: Bellagio, cosmo, aira et al... A massive downpour the day before made natl news when flooding on the strip briefly left knee deep water in places.

A quick trip San Diego - Bellingham via Allegiant Air - 8/31/2011 featured Saxon bull roundup with Lawson, a trip to boat on Bham Bay w/ Thom, followed by outrageous beer fest @ Bham Brew w/ Yogoman Burning Band.
